Special Project «Meet the staff & fall in love». Chef Pavel at Giardino restaurant

Dom Boutique Hotel continues its project «Meet the staff & fall in love», where introduces the hotel team to the guests.

Within this project we’d like you to see our staff not only as a part of well-coordinated hotel system, but also as a wonderful people with their own stories, individual charm and allure.

Perhaps, you have already met some of the staff, and others are the real fighters of the invisible front. All together they are those people who create the atmosphere and mood at DOM.

For each participant we designed special style to underline their unique characters.

Our next hero – chef Pavel at Giardino restaurant. Each morning his team cooks a breakfast buffet, lunches for our guests and of course festive wedding banquets.

Pavel is from St. Petersburg. He worked in many large hotels and restaurants in the city. In 2011, he completed an internship in one of the most famous hotels in Germany - Adlon Kempinski 5 * (Berlin) under the guidance of the chef Hendrik Otto at Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer restaurant, which was awarded with Michelin stars. In 2014, he continued his internship in Italy at the Grand Hotel Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta 4 * (Trieste), where he learned from the chef Federico Sestan at Harry's Piccolo Restaurant.

Pavel loves riding a motorcycle and hiking with a tent on Ladoga Lake, or skiing, when the first two hobbies are not available due to the weather. And also, our chef builds a country house and learns to play the guitar.

A small insight from Pavel:

The most difficult part in our work is: searching for qualified staff and maintaining the team spirit.

The most pleasant part in our work is: serving major festive events, gala banquets, seeing the guests’ joy and hearing compliments about delicious cuisine.
