May Garden – Dom Boutique Hotel’s Birthday

On May, 16 the hotel hosted a festive event dedicated to its birthday, 3-years since opening.

For one day the hotel’s restaurant was transformed into a blooming garden, and the flower theme in decoration was inspired by the hotel’s excellent neighborhood next to the magical Summer Garden. The flower shop Flower GRYADKA decorators managed to embody the idea and convey the tender atmosphere of spring flowering garden.

On the red carpet right at the entrance the quests were welcomed with live saxophone music, sparkling wine and lush floral decorations, and a surprise awaited guests in the hotel lobby. Living statues personifying ancient images with a lyre and a branch of olive tree in their hands greeted the guests, as if they had first come from the Summer Garden to congratulate their neighbor hotel on its birthday.

The Hotel Manager Marianna Neumann thanked the guests for their partnership and support during these years: "Exactly 3 years ago, we breathed our soul into a beautiful mansion with a design interior on Gangutskaya Street, 4 and gave it the name Dom Boutique Hotel! I remember how excitedly we waited for our first guest from England. During these 3 years the hotel accommodated 57 thousand guests, 38 thousand cups of coffee, 4 thousand liters of champagne were drunk and 50 thousand breakfasts were eaten. At the end of last year, we received the 5th star, and now we are a five-star boutique hotel. I will not speak in detail about all the awards, but we are proud to say that we are compared to outstanding and even legendary hotels in Europe".

All the way the guests enjoyed the exquisite appetizers, prepared together by the hotel’s chef Pavel Pogunov with the chef Massimo Parente, who arrived at the hotel’s restaurant from Sorrento, Italy. The guests were treated with summer cocktails and the live performance of jazz musician Fyodor Vasilyeva and vocalist Antonina Pletzer.

The evening culminated in the gifts raffle provided by the hotel’s partners, including the Au Pont Rouge department store, the Faberge Museum, Zenit FC, the Angleterre Cinema Lounge Cinema and many others.

In addition, guests could get acquainted with the hotel’s team in the conference hall, where the photo exhibition “Meet the Staff and Fall in Love” was organized. The purpose of the photo project is to present the employees of Dom Boutique Hotel not only as part of a well-coordinated hotel mechanism, but also as wonderful people with their own history, charm and allure.
